Former Iowa wrestler Tony Ramos
Former NCAA champion Tony Ramos is coming to Mitchell to conduct a youth wrestling clinic on Sept. 24.
There will be two sessions — kindergarten through sixth grade from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and seventh through 12th grade from noon to 2 p.m.
The cost is $35 for USA Wrestling members and $50 for non-members if they register by Sept. 21. The price goes up to $45 for USA Wrestling members and $60 for non-members after that.
Ramos won a national championship in 2014 for the University of Iowa and is presently an assistant coach at North Carolina. He is training for the 2020 Olympics.
