The cost for the second annual clinic is $30 and includes a t-shirt. Online registration is available at this link.
Ownbey is currently an assistant coach at Ferrum (Va.) and some of those college’s wrestlers will be part of Saturday’s clinic at Enka High.
Ownbey was a two-time state champion in high school for the Jets and won 110 of his last 111 high school matches. He was named the Citizen-Times All-WNC Wrestler of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
All proceeds from Saturday’s clinic will benefit The Sgt. S. Matthew Baynard Foundation.
