MARS HILL CAMP: Dec. 4 at Mars Hill University. Camp is open to high school players. Session 1 (pitchers and catchers) will last from 9 a.m. to noon and Session 2 (infielders and outfielders) will last from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost per session is $40 and players may attend both for $70. XCEL YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY: Nov. 8-Dec. 14, Jan. 10-Feb. 22 and March 7-April 12 at the Xcel Sportsplex in Hendersonville. There are four different age groups available — Kindergarten through second grade, third and fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade and seventh grade. Practices are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for kindergarten through fourth grade and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for fifth through seventh grade.
