The Knoxville (Tenn.) Gunslinger Academy has chosen Brevard High as the host site for its first-ever Gunslinger Quarterback Challenge in North Carolina.
The date is April 10 and the competition is open to players in the third through 10th grade. The cost is $95. Accuracy, arm strength and footwork will be evaluated through a series of drills from 2 to 6 p.m. Players should bring the football that they wish to use.
Online registration is available through April 6 at http://www.gunslingeracademy.com. The Brevard event is a regional tryout for the Gunslinger Academy semifinals which are April 23-24 in Knoxville.
