The Lady Xplosion 10th grade girls basketball team won the Twin Cities Classic tournament last weekend in Asheville.
The Lady Xplosion 10th grade girls basketball team won the Twin Cities Classic tournament last weekend in Asheville.
The Xplosion went 3-0 in pool play and defeated the McDowell Titans in the championship game, 64-46.
Team members are Makayla Chandler (North Buncombe), Chesney Gardner (Owen), Makenna Jordan (North Buncombe), Lexi Thomas (Enka), Kendall Marlowe (Owen), Makenzie Chandler (North Buncombe), Haley Grant (Erwin), Dee Graves (Owen), Cayli Parham (Canton Middle), Carly Banks (Enka) and Caroline Parris (Pisgah).
The Lady Xplosion was coached by Jonathan Thomas, Chad Parris and Misty Chandler.
