The Carolina Smoke fifth grade boys basketball team won its age division at the Twin Cities Classic last weekend in Asheville.

The Carolina Smoke fifth grade boys basketball team won its age division at last weekend’s Twin Cities Classic in Asheville.

The Smoke went 4-0 in the tournament and outscored its opponents, 158-94. Caden Robinson averaged 14 points and eight rebounds per game in the tournament while Devin Brafford put up eight points a game.

The Smoke is made up of Haywood County players from Waynesville, Canton and Bethel.

The rest of the team’s members are Sawyer Belue, Peyton Hill, Dawson Reeves, Slade Burnette and Ezra Burgess. The team is coached by Tabatha Brafford and Jason Brafford.
