
West Henderson senior Tanner Bullock won the Mission Health Spotlight Performance of the Week award last football season.
West Henderson senior Tanner Bullock has committed to play football for Brevard College.
Bullock was an All-Western North Carolina Athletic Conference selection in 2015 and the leading rusher for the Falcons (9-4) with 214 carries for 1,325 yards and 19 touchdowns. He averaged 6.2 yards per attempt, and was hence named West Henderson’s most valuable offensive player at the season’s end.

He won the Mission Health Spotlight Performance of the Week award after running for 213 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-14 win at Co-Western Highlands Conference champion Hendersonville. It was West Henderson’s first victory in the series since 2006.
On defense, the linebacker made 25 tackles (19 solo and three for a loss), a sack and a fumble recovery. Bullock was a team captain as a senior and a two-year starter.
West Henderson plans to hold a signing for Bullock and teammate Tristan Thomas (Carson-Newman) on Thursday at the high school.
