Mitchell alum Eve Duncan was named the N.C. USA Wrestling Volunteer of the Year over the weekend.

Eve Duncan was honored recently as the NCUSA Wrestling Volunteer of the Year for 2015. Duncan was recognized for her service as the organization’s Secretary as well as the organization’s pairings director. Duncan helped coordinate over thirty events in North Carolina, as well as volunteering at Regional and National Championships. She also assisted with the 2015 World Championships last fall in Las Vegas. Eve is currently a senior at East Carolina University, and was a 2012 graduate of MItchell High. She is the daughter of Ed and Carole Duncan.
