Enka senior Jon Hall has signed to wrestle in college for Ferrum (Va.).
Enka held a signing ceremony Tuesday morning for three future college athletes — Addison Harris (Mars Hill softball), Joevell Lee (Brevard College soccer) and Jon Hall (Ferrum, Va., wrestling).
Hall wrestled at 182 pounds for the NCHSAA 3-A tournament champion Jets last winter and was a Mountain Athletic Conference champion with a record of 40-18 with 23 pins. He placed third at the 3-A Western Regional tournament.
Harris is a first baseman for the Sugar Jets (22-3) who begin play in the best-of-three 3-A Western Regional championship softball series on Wednesday. She is batting .446 with a team-high seven home runs, with her seventh coming in Monday’s 3-0 win at South Point.
Lee plays in the midfield. He had three assists in nine soccer games last season for Enka (9-11-2).
Enka senior Joevell Lee has signed to play soccer for Brevard College.
