10:56: RUN AYCOCK. Hannah Vinson grounds out, but another run scores. No one on base, one out.
10:55: RUN AYCOCK. Tanika Powell hits an RBI triple. Still no outs.
10:54: RUN AYCOCK. Fourth error of the night allows Aycock to score its fourth run. Runner on third base with no outs.
10:52: Leadoff single for Aycock. A common theme tonight.
10:50: Aycock finally gets out of the inning. Enka scores four runs off of four hits with two outs.
10:48: New pitcher for Aycock is Allison Singleton. She is a right-hander.
10:46: RUN ENKA. Addison Harris singles. The floodgates have opened.
10:45: RUN ENKA. RUN ENKA. Claire Crout pounds a double into the gap in left-center field.. Two runs come around. Crout is only a freshman.
10:44: Huge, huge insurance run for Enka.
10:42: RUN ENKA. Kloyee Anderson singles up the middle. Runners on first and second with two outs.
10:40: Brittany Fletcher singles. Runners on first and second with two outs and Kloyee Anderson coming to bat.
10:39: Whitney Fletcher singles. Runner on first with two outs.
10:38: Two outs and no runners on for the Sugar Jets.
10:36: Only four hits and three errors for Enka.
10:34: On to the final inning. Gotta think Enka needs a run or two here. Aycock’s first three hitters are 9-1-2 in the bottom of the seventh.
10:33: For the second time tonight, Enka first baseman Addison Harris turns an unassisted double play. Like before she caught a liner and then tagged first base for the out.
10:30: Leadoff is on again for Aycock as result of an Enka error. Runner on first with no outs.
10:28: Make that 11. Headed to the bottom of the sixth.
10:25: Aycock pitcher Allie Phillips has retired 10 straight Enka hitters.
10:22: One run on two hits for Aycock.
10:21: RUN AYCOCK. Madison Walton grounds out to first base but it’s enough to score a run.
10:20: Runners on second and third with one out.
10:17: Runners on first and second with no outs. Another bunt single for the Golden Falcons.
10:15: Runner on first with no outs for Aycock. A lot of slap hitters in their lineup with a lot of speed.
10:13: Nothing for Enka. Headed to the bottom of the fifth.
10:12: Two outs, no one on for Enka here in the fifth.
10:07: Aycock strands her. End of the fourth inning.
10:05: Mackenzie Wheeler singles to start things off for Aycock. A sacrifice bunt moves her to second base. One out.
10:02: A 1-2-3 inning for the Sugar Jets.
10:01: Two quick outs for Enka. Aycock’s second baseman just robbed Courtney Pearson of a hit.
9:57: Hannah Vinson singles to give Aycock a runner on first with no outs, BUT two batters later, Allison Singleton lines out to Addison Harris who then doubles up Vinson by tagging first base. Double play and end of the third inning.
9:54: That’s the end of the Enka threat. Two runs on two hits gives the Sugar Jets their first lead.
9:53: RUN ENKA. RUN ENKA. Addison Harris crushes a two-run homer to right field.
9:51: Leadoff double by Kloyee Anderson. Runner on second with no outs.
9:49: Enka back at the top of its order. Alabama recruit Kloyee Anderson will lead off.
9:45: Two-out single by Aycock leadoff Connor Vinson who then steals second. But she is stranded. That’s two innings in the books here in Greensboro.
9:43: Two outs and nobody on.
9:42: That’s the end of the top of the second. Good answer by the Sugar Jets.
9:41: Phillips has thrown a lot of pitches this inning for Aycock. Full count to Brittany Fletcher.
9:39: RUN ENKA. RUN ENKA. Whitney Fletcher doubles to center field to tie the game. Was a shot to the fence.
9:38: 3-1 count to Whitney Fletcher.
9:36: Courtney Pearson draws a walk. Runners on first and second with two outs.
9:34: Dani Harris hits a bloop single to center field. Runner on first with two outs.
9:33: Two outs.
9:32: Mariah Foxworth makes good contact, but lines out to left field. One out.
9:30: End of the first inning.
9:29: Runners on the corners after another Enka error. Sugar Jets look nervous.
9:28: Allison Singleton singles up the middle. Runner on first with two outs.
9:25: RUN AYCOCK. RUN AYCOCK. Hannah Vinson hits a bunt single and then comes all the way around on a throwing error by Enka.
9:24: Tanika Powell bunts her way onto base. Powell then steals second base. Still one out.
9:23: Great play at shortstop by Claire Crout to record the first out for Enka.
9:20: Sugar Jets go down in order. Headed to the bottom of the first inning.
9:18: Kloyee Anderson grounds out. One out, nobody on.
9:17: OK, here we go.
9:16: Starting pitcher for Aycock (Phillips) is a lefty.
9:14: Enka is the visiting team on the scoreboard and will bat first.
9:12: Payton Trantham receives a pregame award from the NCHSAA for sportsmanship.
9:10: Starting lineups are taking place now. We will start shortly.
9:06: Couple banks of lights have come back on and some are still out.
8:57: The NCHSAA is already discussing its options. One of them floating out there is finishing the series on Sunday if necessary.
8:55: Lights have not come back on yet. Almost pitch darkness here in the stadium.
8:47: Lights were back on for about five minutes but are now out again. Chance this game will be pushed to tomorrow.

8:14: UNCG is saying that tonight’s game will start around 8:55.
8:08: The lights are on here now which is another positive development.
8:06: South Granville just won, 5-4. Field is being cleared for the 3-A game.
7:59: Will try to give you guys any information I can on the updated start time when we have one.
7:58: Couple updates and neither is good. Game 1 of the 2-A series between South Granville and West Lincoln is tied 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning as we speak. So Enka will not play at 8 p.m., 9 may be more realistic. Also, UNC Greensboro officials are working to get the lights on, but no luck yet.
