Danny Wilkins retired as Asheville High’s football coach in November.
Former players and coaching colleagues as well as their families are invited to attend a retirement celebration Wednesday for Danny Wilkins.
The drop-in style event will last from 5 to 8 p.m. at the downtown Asheville location of the Twisted Laurel at 130 College Street.
Wilkins retired as the winningest football coach in Asheville High history (162 career victories) back in November.
