The Carolina Smoke went 4-0 to win the Pigeon Forge (Tenn.) Summer Slam’s 12 and under division last weekend.
The team’s players are Peyton Hill, Ezra Burgess, Lee Parker, Slade Burnette, Sawyer Belue, Dawson Reeves, Devin Brafford, and Caden Robinson. The head coach is Tabitha Brafford.
Burgess averaged 10 rebounds a game in the tournament and his traditional three-point play gave the Smoke a 28-27 win over Dream Elite in the finals. Robinson averaged 13 points a game, while Burnette and Reeves averaged six steals a game. The Summer Slam was the third tournament win of the year for the Smoke.
