The Citizen-Times will provide live, continuous updates from Wednesday night’s American Legion matchup between Asheville and Haywood County. Updates should begin shortly before the first pitch at Lake Junaluska Elementary School.
Asheville Post 70 is off to a 5-0 start and the Western Division leader for Area IV, but will be without one of its best players as Roberson junior/Vanderbilt recruit Garrett Blaylock is currently at the Perfect Game National Showcase in Florida.
Haywood (3-3) is the defending Western Division champion.
