Recent Erwin graduate Tanner Hall pitches during a March game. The Warriors will have a new coach (Caleb Harbin) for the 2017 season.
Caleb Harbin has been hired to coach the Erwin baseball team.
Harbin is a 2011 Pisgah graduate who played collegiately for Mars Hill.
He was an assistant coach for this past season’s 24-4 Mountain Athletic Conference 4-A championship Roberson team. Harbin is currently an assistant for the Asheville American Legion Post 70 team.
Harbin replaces Billy Shepherd who went 7-16 in his only season at Erwin.
