East Henderson alum Tyler Sexton is a senior at Western Carolina University.
Two former East Henderson football players were named to the preseason All-Southern Conference team on Wednesday.
Senior tight end Tyler Sexton (first team offense) and redshirt sophomore lineman Nathan Dalton (second team offense) are both now attending Western Carolina University which opens its season Sept. 3 at East Carolina.
The Catamounts were picked third in the SoCon preseason media poll and fourth by coaches.
Sexton is a 2012 Eagles graduate who made 31 receptions for 385 yards and three touchdowns a year ago. Dalton was a Shrine Bowl player in 2013 for East Henderson and made nine starts for WCU last season.
