Three baseball players from the Mountain Athletic Conference came away with all-tournament honors after the Perfect Game World Wood Bat Association 16 and under national championship played July 8-15 in Emerson, Ga.
They are Reynolds rising junior Hunter Macomber, McDowell rising junior Matthew Smith and Roberson rising junior Aaron McKeithan. All three of the players belong to the Impact Baseball Dirtbags 16U Drew team.
McKeithan made the all-tournament team as a positional player while Macomber and Smith were pitchers.
