McDowell football and new coach Andy Morgan will conduct their first full-contact, intrasquad scrimmage shortly after the stroke of midnight.
And the Titans are inviting their fans to come and see it.
A “Midnight Madness” practice is scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m. Friday night and end at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Saturday is the first day in which NCHSAA football teams can hold full-contact workouts, so the scrimmage will be towards the tail end of practice.
Fans who come hungry can purchase barbecue plates for $5 each.
