Recent Swain County graduate Ross Ensley has signed with the Carson-Newman (Tenn.) track and field program.
Recent Swain County graduate Ross Ensley has signed with the Carson-Newman (Tenn.) track and field program.
Ensley was a thrower for the Maroon Devils. He came in eighth in the discus (124 feet, 4 inches) at May’s NCHSAA 1-A meet.
In addition, Ensley was an All-Smoky Mountain Conference linebacker in football and an All-SMC wrestler. He was the 1-A state runner-up wrestler at 170 pounds.
