Reynolds alum Courtney Koehler has the second most-most assists (219) and service aces (nine) for the South Carolina volleyball team.
And she is only a freshman.
The Gamecocks are 13-1 overall and 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference ahead of Sunday’s 1:30 p.m. home match against Kentucky. It will be streamed live on the SEC Network.
Koehler was the 2015 Citizen-Times All-WNC Player of the Year and Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year after finishing with 536 assists, 213 digs, 110 kills, 52 blocks and 33 aces for the MAC 3-A champion Rockets (20-3). Koehler amassed more than 1,500 career assists.
