Christ School senior Drew Johnson (2,273 yards) and Asheville High senior Devon Davidson (2,015) are the latest area quarterbacks to pass for 2,000 yards, and four more have gone over 1,000.
Asheville School junior Ahmad Galimore (1,175 yards), Owen sophomore Kendrick Weaver (1,076), Mountain Heritage junior Trey Robinson (1,072) and Reynolds junior Nathan St. Onge (1,044) are Western North Carolina’s newest 1,000-yard performers in passing.
This is the final week of the regular season for all local NCHSAA football teams, while the NCISAA playoffs begin Friday for Asheville School and Christ School.
