Roberson’s Mitchell Stanek
Roberson senior Mitchell Stanek has committed to swim in college for Davidson.
As a junior, Stanek was an All-Mountain Athletic Conference and Citizen-Times All-WNC selection who swam the area’s fastest times in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.21) and 200-yard individual medley (1:56.74). He was the runner-up in the Ironman competition.
The Rams will hold a signing ceremony next week for Stanek and fellow senior Mary-O Soule (North Carolina).
