Name: Jacob Robinson
School/team: Owen High School/Warhorses
Age/school year: 17/Senior
Sports: Soccer
GPA: 4.2
Favorite subject in school and why: Math. Math gives me a challenge. Although it isn’t my hardest subject, math gives you problems to solve each day, because of that I have a different challenge every time I step into the classroom.
Favorite athlete/sports team and why: Alex Morgan is my favorite athlete because she is dedicated to what she does and not only represents her sport but is a role model for others as well.
What is your favorite thing about playing football? My favorite thing about playing soccer is being part of something bigger than myself. I love being able to go out every day and play for my teammates. Soccer has helped me create a bond with my friends, and that is something I’ll keep with me for the rest of my life.
Quote from a coach: “We are very thankful for a player like Jacob because of what he adds to our program. He is a player we can count on no matter where we put him on the field. He is our leading scorer this season and has scored six goals in the last four game with limited playing time in two of them. His desire and passion to work hard on the field has been important for this program through the years as he has helped set an example for not only current players but the players behind him coming up.” – Coach David Fiest
