Roberson baseball teammates Garrett Blaylock (Vanderbilt) and Collin Watt (East Carolina) signed with colleges on Wednesday along with Rams golfer Matt Sharpstene (West Virginia).

Blaylock was named the Citizen-Times All-WNC Player of the Year and the Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year last spring after batting .471 with 31 RBIs, nine doubles, four triples and four home runs. The middle infielder scored 31 runs. Blaylock also went 7-1 as a pitcher with a 1.45 earned-run average and 50 strikeouts in 33.2 innings pitched.

Watt was an All-MAC infielder/pitcher for the Rams (24-4) last season. He hit .346 with 15 RBIs, eight doubles, six stolen bases and a home run. On the mound, Watt had two saves, a 5.41 earned-run average and nine strikeouts in 10.1 innings pitched.

Sharpstene was the Citizen-Times All-WNC and MAC Player of the Year as well as the 4-A Western Regional champion as a junior. Sharstene maintained a stroke average of 72.6 for 18-hole matches for Roberson, culminating with a sixth-place finish at the NCHSAA 4-A tournament.
