Lindsey Wilson Men’s Basketball signs Zach Reeves for 2016-17 season
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men’s basketball program added high school senior Zach Reeves for the upcoming 2016-17 season, head coach Paul Peck announced on Thursday.
Reeves, originally from Rolesville, North Carolina, joins the Blue Raiders from the highly-touted Christ School in Arden, N.C., where 23 student-athletes have signed or gone on to play collegiate basketball since 2009.
During his senior campaign at Christ, Reeves helped lead the Greenies to a 23-8 record with a perfect 8-0 mark in league play, advancing to the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) State Quarterfinals.
As a senior captain, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound Reeves averaged eight points, five rebounds and five assists per game en route to helping Christ capture the Carolina Athletic Association regular season and tournament championships.
In the classroom, Reeves is a high honor roll student at Christ.
“Zach is a great team player from a terrific high school program,” Peck said. “He is a great fit for our program and a tremendous athlete with excellent skills. He will make us better immediately.”
