East Henderson senior Logan Burroughs has signed to run college cross country and track for Pfeiffer.
Burroughs’ personal records are as follows — 800-meter run (2 minutes, 11 seconds), 1,600-meter run (5:04), 5-kilometers (18:00) and pole vault (10 feet).
“I’m super-excited that all of my hard work is paying off. It’s so cool to think I have another four years to do this,” Burroughs said Wednesday, shortly after he signed.
“I can’t thank my parents and coaches enough for all their support. They deserve so much credit for getting me to this point. I felt at home (at Pfeiffer). They have a small campus and a great coaching staff.”
