The Western North Carolina Warriors fifth-grade boys basketball team won the March Madness DI tournament last weekend in Charlotte.
The Warriors beat the Queen City Ballers, 54-24, in the championship game.
Tryouts for the Warriors’ fifth, sixth and eight-grade teams will be held March 17 at the Fairview Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m.
