COACH OF THE YEAR

Buzz Cook

Roberson

Cook and the Rams (15-1) were the Mountain Athletic Conference champions and had an undefeated regular season in dual team play. Coleman Baker, who is a junior, was named the MAC player of the year and joined on the all-conference team by Noah Dohle, Ian Cowan, Abhishek Das and Ian McAdoo. Cook has been the head coach at Roberson since 2013.

Junior

Schrader (22-0) is a three-time recipient of the Citizen-Times All-WNC player of the year award following a season in which he won the NCHSAA 2-A singles championship for the first time. Schrader is undefeated against mountain competition in his career and has been the Western North Carolina Athletic Conference and 2-A Western Regional champion as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

ALL-WNC TEAM

Liam Baer

Brevard

Sophomore

Baer (16-0) was an All-Western North Carolina Athletic Conference selection who teamed with Cameron Wilson to win the 2-A Western Regional championship in doubles. Their record together was 17-1.

Coleman Baker

Junior

Baker (17-1) was the Mountain Athletic Conference player of the year and undefeated in singles and doubles play during the regular season.

Andreas Lederer

Christ School

Sophomore

Lederer (10-2) was an All-Carolinas Athletic Association selection who helped the Greenies (14-2) win the CAA championship. He had a 12-1 record in doubles.

Wills Reed

Asheville School

Senior

Reed (8-5) was the Carolinas Athletic Association player of the year and 5-0 against CAA competition in singles and doubles.

Zach Theodossiou

Asheville

Freshman

Theodossiou was an All-Mountain Athletic Conference selection and the 3-A Western Regional runner-up in singles. He reached the semifinals of the NCHSAA 3-A tournament and was voted the Cougars’ most valuable player.

Asheville School: Brandon Carswell.

Brevard: Cameron Wilson, Charles Kang and Cullen Duval.

Christ School: Stephen Saye and Kiffen Loomis.

East Henderson: Charlie Jarvis.

Owen: Gable Lammens, Sean Douglas and Joseph Frith.

Pisgah: Tanner Wike.

Reynolds: Conner Reilly.

Roberson: Noah Dohle, Ian Cowan, Abishek Das and Ian McAdoo.

West Henderson: Nathan Greer and Ellis Young.
