The Lady Xplosion eighth-grade team won the middle school division of the Hoopz Summer Championships tournament held July 23 and 24 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The Lady Xplosion eighth-grade team won the middle school division of the Hoopz Summer Championships tournament held July 23 and 24 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The Xplosion went 5-1 in the tourney, defeating teams from North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and West Virginia. They avenged their only loss in the championship game.
The Xplosion was the runner-up team in the high school division. Coaches were David Clark, Jack Webb and Chad Parris.
