Saturday is the first day in which NCHSAA football teams are allowed to conduct full-contact practices.
With that in mind, Enka is holding a “Meet the Jets” event at the high school stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is free and fans will be privy to open practices from the Hominy Valley Youth League, the Enka JV team, and then the varsity in successive order.
Fans who test drive a Ford car on the adjoining Hominy Valley Youth League property (by the tennis courts) will help the Jets athletic department. For each test drive, the school receives a donation. Everyone is welcome to take a test drive provided they are 18 years or older.
