Issiah Bradley averaged 7.2 tackles per game for Swain County in 2015.
Can one transfer alter an entire conference-championship race?
Probably not.
But it doesn’t hurt that former All-Smoky Mountain Conference lineman Issiah Bradley is adding to the main strength of a defending regional champ.
Bradley has transferred from Swain County to Robbinsville in the offseason, which means the Black Knights now have four returning All-SMC players from 2015 — Bradley, Case Hooper, Logan Odom and Colby Hemphill.
Bradley averaged 7.2 tackles per game as a sophomore and had 13.5 stops for a loss. He is now a junior.
The reigning 1-A Western Regional and SMC champ Black Knights open their season Aug. 19 at home against Smoky Mountain.
