The Southern Athletics 2018 Webb team.
Four baseball players from Western North Carolina were named to the all-tournament team following the BCS Finals 16U held July 18-24 in Fort Myers, Fla.
All four are juniors and part of the Southern Athletics 2018 Webb team.
They are:
- Smoky Mountain’s Zebby Matthews (shortstop/pitcher) – Batted .429 and had a 2.21 earned-run average in one start and a relief appearance.
- Tuscola’s Cameron Parker (first baseman/pitcher) – Pitched in two games with a 0.00 ERA in 11 innings.
- North Henderson’s Riley Johnson (infielder/pitcher) – Batted .714.
- East Henderson’s Logan Jackson (shortstop) – Batted .500.
